El Yak Adventures is a Nepali mountain-bike company in Kathmandu. Mangal Krishna Lama founded it in 2013, and restarted it in 2020 with Pawan Dhakal. These are the facts we stand behind, and where each was reported.

- The record
- In 2022 Mangal Krishna Lama made the first solo traverse of the Great Himalaya Trail high route by mountain bike.
- The route
- Kangchenjunga Base Camp to Hilsa on the Tibetan border, about 1,700 km. It crosses twenty-two passes above 5,000 metres, and its high point is above 6,000 metres, at West Col.
- The ride
- 88 riding days from 1 April 2022. Solo means one rider. He planned and carried the logistics himself, with porters and technical support on four mountaineering passes. By his own account, close to 60 per cent was pushed or carried.
- The rider
- A self-taught racer from Kakani, Nuwakot. A certified mountain-bike guide in Nepal who has led riders from Switzerland, Britain and worldwide, raced the Mondraker Enduro in Davos with Globetrotter, and guided Global Cycling Network (GCN) films in the Himalayas. He was third at the 2009 Yak Attack and fourth in 2012.
- The company
- El Yak Pvt. Ltd., Thamel, Kathmandu. It runs signature mountain-bike tours on the Annapurna Circuit, in Upper Mustang, in the Khumbu and in Dolpo.
